His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Adefarasin Saheed Hassan, Ajanaku II, the Alajede of Ijede Kingdom has assured of a remarkable grand coronation ceremony that would be remembered for a long time.
The royal father said that he would be glad to receive the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo -Olu, royal fathers and other important dignitaries who have been contacted to grace the grand coronation occasion.
The ceremony which is slated for Saturday, May 24, 2027, will be the final activity for the coronation of Oba Adefarasin Hassan as the Alajede of Ijede Kingdom.

Alajede gave the assurance on recently when he welcomed his daughter, Her Royal Highness, Princess Oluwabukola Fehintola Adefarasin back in Ijede during a joint interview with her.
“We will be delighted to receive them. Some were present at the staff of office/coronation ceremony in January, and we deeply appreciate their support. We have sent letters to them and we are expecting the executive governor, commissioners, royal fathers and many others whom we will be honoured with their presence,” the royal father remarked.
Hinting at the royal grandeur and unprecedented cultural magnificence of the coronation’s grand finale, Oba Adefarasin said,
“Aside from this set of guests, we are still expecting more guests for the grand finale, and it promises to be a remarkable day —one that will be remembered for a long time.”

Oba Adefarasin described the homecoming of his Princess as a great development in the annals of Ijede traditional history:
“Yes, I would say it is a great coming, and I’m truly happy to witness it. For a long time, we’ve only been communicating over the phone, sometimes through video sessions. We have always stayed in touch that way, so it brings me great joy to finally see her in person today.
“This is a joyful moment for us, and we are glad to have everyone share in our celebration. You can see the happiness all around — if you step outside, you’ll see the smiles and excitement on people’s faces. It’s truly a beautiful sight.”
He pledged that his reign as Alajede would be a continuation of service that he has been rendering to his community and the people and developments.

“As I mentioned earlier, this is a continuation of the good things to come. We have served as representatives of the community and area in the State House of Assembly, and I have also served as executive chairman of Ijede. This moment represents a continuation of dedicated service to the community.
“The people should expect great things from us and from this family. We have their best interests at heart. We love this community, and we have been part of it for a long time. Personally, I have been (living permanently) in this community since 1996.”
